To use 18V on a Suhr Riot Mini Distortion Pedal, you can use a power supply with a DC input of 9 to 18 Vdc (center negative).
Running a pedal at a higher voltage, like 18V, can increase the overall volume and clean headroom. This can be useful when using the pedal to slam into the preamp of an amp to get more power.
